Job Overview:
Wipro is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in software development and leadership in quality assurance. The ideal candidate will drive transformational initiatives and oversee financial, contractual, and operational aspects of multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive QA strategy for telecom applications, including creating detailed test plans and test cases.
- Implement and maintain QA standards and best practices, balancing automation and manual testing methodologies.
- Build and manage a high-performing QA team, handling recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, Information Security, and Quality Governance to ensure smooth operations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and external partners, ensuring timely project deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes by identifying and integrating new tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role focused on quality engineering.
- Proven track record in leading high-performance QA teams.
- In-depth understanding of wireless telecom systems.
- Expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in QA transformation and process consulting is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary Range: $100,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience.
