Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has announced a new recruitment drive for the role of Chief Engineer. This is a prestigious opportunity with only one vacancy available, offering a chance to work at the Corporate Office in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The position is open for a minimum tenure of three years.
Eligibility Criteria and Experience
To qualify
for this role, candidates must be an IRSE Officer or an officer in the IRSE
Cadre of Indian Railways, with the following criteria:
- Age Limit: Candidates must be under 55
years for deputation and Under 57 years for permanent absorption as of the
notification date.
- Experience: The candidate should be
working in Pay Matrix Level 14 under the 7th CPC, or as an Engineering
Executive in another PSU in the IDA scale E8 (Rs.1,20,000-2,80,000). Alternatively,
officers in the IRSE cadre with 16 years of experience in Pay Matrix Level 13
or a Civil Engineering Executive in another PSU in the IDA scale E6 (Rs.90,000-2,40,000)
are also eligible.
Salary and Benefits
Selected
candidates will receive a monthly salary aligned with the SAG PB-4 with a Grade
Pay of Rs. 10,000,
as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 14. This is a significant opportunity for those seeking a
